Quick and the dead rankings (2046 Week 12)

In 14 of the 16 games, the higher ranked team won and we had two significant upsets.

The Rancors have had an incredible roller coater season. The #20 Rancors were Upset in week 1 by the #26 United Ukraine. Fast forward to week 7 and the then #18 Rancors upset the then #7 Regulators. Week 9 and the #23 Rancors Upset the #14 Far East then this week the #24 Rancors Upset the #11 Treasure to move up to #18 in the rankings just 2 spots above where they started the season.

Starting in week 6, the #32 ranked team has won 4 times over the next 6 weeks all leading the Muskies back to being "The Deadest of the Dead" at #32 for the 9th time in 12 weeks.

The Fightin Amish won the first matchup at home and if they can sweep tge Quicksilver it would all but clinch them the South Division with 3 games remaining. The Quicksilver have won the South Division in 27 of the first 28 seasons in the Quick and the Dead including 10 straight where the Hollywood Stars were the only team to win the South back in 2037.

The 29th season of the Quick and the Dead wraps up and the Kansas City Monarchs finish at #1 for the 4th time in league history. The Monarchs have finished at #1 in 3 of the last 4 seasons and move into 3rd place Alltime with 4 #1 finishes behind the Charleston Hammers (7) & Great Falls Quicksilver (5).

The Monarchs finished with 210 ranking points which is the 3rd most in league history and just the 5th team to reach 200 points.

Quick and the dead rankings (2047 Week 1)

Week 1 of a new season can see the rankings fluctuate drastically and the 30th season of The Quick and the Dead is no different.

The AND tier had more wins then the QUICK tier in week 1 and 12 teams switched tiers in the first official rankings of the 2047 season including 2 teams that moved 2 tiers!

The Mayfield Bakers jumped from #29 (DEAD) up to #9 (QUICK) thanks to their huge upset of the Rampage who dropped from #6 (QUICK) down to #24 (DEAD).

The Monarchs are the defending Champs and have won 4 of the last 7 Titles but they traveled to Blue Rock in week 1 and got smoked by the Heisenbergs, losing 10-3 in a defensive battle.

The Dead had 5 teams win in week 3 including 4 major upsets where Dead teams beat Teams ranked 11, 13, 17 & 20 spots higher then them!

12 teams switched tiers as the rankings continue to fluxulate but the top 4 ranked teams remain unchanged while the Muskies have reclaimed "The Deadest of the Dead" Title so all is right in the world.

Quick and the dead rankings (2047 Week 4)

We reached the ¼ pole of the 30th season and we are down to just 5 undefeated teams. The game of the week featured the #1 Fightin Amish hosting the #3 Quicksilver which was a battle of unbeaten division rivals that needed overtime before the Fightin Amish finally won 37-31.

The #10 Regulators destroyed the #32 Muskies 120-7 but both teams stayed ranked exactly the same. The Regulators have shown the ability to destroy DEAD teams by historical scores but when they play QUICK teams, they struggle to win. Over the past 5 season, since 2043, they have gone 3-15 when playing QUICK teams. It's the last hurdle the Regulators need to get over to be considered one of the elite teams in the Quick and the Dead.

The #32 Muskies are "The Deadest of the Dead" and losing by a score of 120-7 should be an alltime low for the francise. Unfortunately, they have lost by similar scores in the past. In 2046, they lost 112-9 to the Mellotrons & lost 108-3 to the Mallards. In 2039, they lost to the Hammers 97-0 & in 2038, they again lost to the Hammers 110-0. Since 2038, the Muskies have finished ranked #32 6 times in 9 seasons while finishing #31 2 times & #30 1 time.
