Quick and the dead rankings (2050 Week 14)

The Rattlesnakes have dominated the rankings this season securing the #1 Rank through 12 of the first 13 weeks including the last 10 straight weeks before the perennial contender #2 Monarchs beat them in week 14 to propel themselves into the top spot.

Quick and the dead rankings (2050 Week 16 Final)

After a late push by the Monarchs, the Rattlesnakes finish the season as the #1 team in the rankings. It's the first time in francise history the Rattlesnakes have finished #1.

For the 9th time in francise history the St. Lawrence Muskies finished ranked 32nd as they increase the record Alltime for being named "The Deadest of the Dead".

Quick and the dead rankings (2051 Week 1)

After the massive exodus of owners, the week 1 rankings became a wild "free for all" featuring 4 games between Quick teams plus 4 major upsets.

The Rattlesnakes jumped into the #1 ranking after the Monarchs lost big and became no longer Quick enough.

With everything said & done, we only had 3 new Quick teams but 2 of those teams made the 2 tier jump from Dead to Quick! The Gumberoos & Borlealis made the rare 2 tier jump as the Gumberoos moved up 15 spots while the Borlealis moved up 18 spots.

The Virgins unseated the Muskies as "The Deadest of the Dead" as they moved into the #32 ranking.

We are down to 14 owners and they went 9-5 in week 1 while the A.I. went 7-11.

Quick and the dead rankings (2051 Week 2)

Week 2 was another Topsy turvy affair where 12 teams switched theirs.

The Rattlesnakes and Virgins maintained their holds on the #1 & #32 rankings with a tin of movement in between.

The Regulators bounced back from a week 1 lose by destroying the #14 Fighting DeLucias to move up from #20 to #6.

The owner of the Regulators petitioned the league to invalidate the week 1 lose based on the week 2 result but the appeal was obviously denied. The commissioner pointed out the Regulators had 4 turnovers in week 1 plus went 4 for 10 on 4th down which resulted in 10 combined turnovers overall. The 10 turnovers resulted in 13 of the 16 points scored by the Far East while the Regulators passed on 3 separate field goal attempts themselves in favor of going for a touchdown and came up empty by turning the ball over on Downs.

The bottom line and moral of the story is while the Regulators are clearly the better team and would win 9 times put of 10 if the 2 teams played...it's why we play the games because any given Sunday, anyone can win and sometimes when you keep your foot on the gas and go for the jugular...sometimes you run into a tree and end up cutting your own throat.

Quick and the dead rankings (2051 Week 4)

We have reached the quarter mark of the season and upsets continue to shake up the rankings while the Rattlesnakes reclaim the #1 rank for the 3rd time in 4 weeks.

We have the 3rd different 32nd ranked team in as many weeks with the Blizzard being named "The Deadest of the Dead".

The #30 Corsairs beat the #3 Quicksilver 14-10 for the first time in francise history snapping a 66 game losing streak to their division opponent.

Quick and the dead rankings (2051 Week 6)

This week the #1 Rattlesnakes and #32 Timbers remained the top and bottom of the rankings for another week.

We had one of the biggest upsets in league history this week when the #27 Bakers beat the #2 Foghorn Leghorns which pushed the Leghorns right out of the QUICK tier while the Bakers were resurrected from the DEAD. The Leghorns dropped 9 spots while the Bakers climbed 11 spots so while they were 25 spots apart before the game, they ended the week separated by just 5 spots in the rankings.
