17 games over 19 weeks - cool but wait, MFN doesn't have regular season bye weeks so we gotz to run 17 weeks straight and then posses a 99% chance of not having a bye week for Week 1 of the playoffs.
Aight, so it's a 15 out of 16 team chance per conference of not getting rest, which is truly just below 99% of not getting the chance to heal up.

Not a fan of this in NFL or MFN. Only quibble is with the math, 15/16 is .9375 or 94%...close enough to 99.
With the extra game, has there been talk of increasing rosters? I do not pay much attention to all the CBA talk, at least not until it's signed and we actually know what changes are coming. I would think an extra roster spot or two would be in play to cover that extra game and/or an extra active spot on game day.
I get the only 1 BYE week part, but they might as well scrap BYES and have 8 from each conference. I can see a scenario in 2020 or 2021 where the Saints get screwed out of the 1 BYE and ***** and moan about it. Make it even for everyone, plus extra revenue, which is what this is all about in the first place.
