The GL pass play has been NERFed. (I don't mean the fun kind that kids toss around the backyard.) The rule is still a good idea, keeps people from overusing GL Outside Runs.
I have noticed that it’s not as effective anymore, but every once in a while that TE breaks away and the QB hits him for a long gain.

I watched the average yards nosedive after the nerf, and pretty much stopped using it, so I hadn't seen that. I favor the HB Weak play if I have an RB with 90+ speed.
