Tim Couch is more like David Carr, Derek's older brother. Both were put in charge of expansion teams with weak OL and neither really had a chance to succeed. It was Couch, Smith and Donovan McNabb in the top 3 and only the Eagles got it right, though who's to say if McNabb would have been as good in Cincy? The Bengals were a mess back then and the Eagles had Andy Reid, so maybe any of the 3 would have succeeded in Philly.

Ryan Leaf is probably the closest example of Jamarcus.
Yeah, Leaf was seriously considered equal to Peyton Manning predraft.
I remember this draft and Manning wasn't 100% the top pick, many experts like Leif over Manning and obviously they chose right but it was almost 50/50 who went #1 and who went #2 overall.
Imagine if Indy had chose Leif and Manning went to the Chargers!!!
