1.32 WR Terry Hahn 92 Vol -9 Bad way to start the camp, but given his high intangibles and his AF staying above 40 will likely make the roster currently as depth for the offense.
2.32 CB David Breedlove 50 Vol +3 A second season spending a 2nd round pick on a DB and a second DB booms. Given the age of the current starters fresh blood of any kind is necessary although local media would prefer players who were less of a reach this high.
5.32 OL Frank Courtney 86 Vol +4 The first of two possible starters/depth pieces for years to come in the OL found in the later rounds. There's hope in the Hammers camp that after a few seasons will add the finishing touches of polish to Frank's game and have a long-term starter
6.32 OL Michael Smith 100 Vol +11 The second OL gem found in the 2043 draft. Currently projects to fight for a starting spot or be a swingman. Long-term projects to be an excellent technique player that could start at any position.
7.32 DT Charles Engelke 96 Vol -12 The recent change to a 3-4 defense made Charles a long-shot to make the roster considering his subpar intangibles. However, a poor camp has guaranteed that Charles wouldn't stay on the roster even for the preseason
Overall decent-ish camp for the Hammers. Would have been an exceptional camp had Hahn boomed but I will take Breedlove booming as well as two players who should spend most of their careers being decent OL
1.29 - LT Isiah Richards: 24 vol. +0. Mallards waved good bye to a seasoned vet Tony Victoria and drafted franchise LT. Should immediately become the corner stone of OL.
2.1 - CB Vincent Kenny: 28 vol. +3. May look like a reach, but he's fast and delivers top M2M coverage all together with B&R. Instant starter.
2.7 - RDE Dominic Hartley: 16 vol. -7 The greatest dissapointment of the camp given that low vol. should have made him a top pass rushing weapon. Still has place in the team, changing him to LB may be an option.
2.30 - SS Donald Jones: 92 vol. -15 Search for the LB suffered another blow. With 92 vol. this definitely was a long shot. Mallards need to find him a reasonable space in the squad otherwise he might not make the team.
3.29 - LG Pablo Patton: 42 vol. +1 Feeling lucky to draft this guy late in the third round. TC went well and he might find himself among the starters. His speed limits him to be an inside lineman I'm affraid.
4.19 - K Mark Kidd: 70 vol. -7 Superstar kicker David Jenkins is entering his 14th pro season and last year of his contract. Mallards could not sort kicker position in the draft as Mark Kidd busts. Will get chance in preseason games though.
7.29 - DT Harry Mills: 92 vol. +9 Mr. almost Irrelevant finds himself in a difficult situation. TC went extremely well but his primary attributes are still subpar.
Overall excelent camp fo the Mallards. The Dominic Hartley bust hurts a bit but OL got fresh blood.
Billy Corgan smashed pumpkins rather than work on football stuff and had a bad camp.
Two members of the band Helloween didn't have good camps either. Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen were popular in the locker room with their impromptu concerts, but not too popular with the coaches.
Ichabod Crane boomed big time, helping us avoid a headless draft.
Sometimes I wish this league had more preseason games. Tough to figure things out, especially post-Flat Zone.
I get it, but it's always been themed after it's name hence quick free agency & preseason.
I was unaware of that. Makes sense! I'll have to learn on the fly then.

A full season in most leagues take around 70 days in real time when you include the Sunday off days. That's from end of season spin to end of season spin.
The Quick and Dead is right at 60 days! The XFL is actually older then the Quick and the Dead but we are starting season 26 while the XFL is finishing up season 25.
