The 2038 season has seen the sack return in a big way due to the rule changes in the off-season. Not since 2022; 16 seasons ago, have sacks numbers been this high.

Jose Smith (LDE) for the Great Falls set the single season sack record in the 21 season history of the Quick and the Dead League with 27 sacks. He broke a 17 year old record of 25 sacks shared by George Lucia and John Jamar set in 2022.
The sack record was also challenged by Robert Earl (HWS) 24, Tyler Prichett (HWS) 23, Salvador Huber (CWS) 23 and Anthony Abdul (CHA).
The Hollywood Stars teammates, Earl & Prichett set the single season sack record for a duo with 47 combined sacks. Quicksilver teammates Smith and George Johnson finished 2nd Alltime with 45 sacks while Foghorn Leghorn tandem Huber and Harold Arnott combined for 44 to finish 3rd Alltime. The 3 duos all passes the Alltime record of 40 sacks set 20 years ago in 2019 set by Texas Butcherz combo Jose Plaza & Joseph Sanchez.
