I wish I could keep new posts in certain threads (or by certain users) from turning the green light on indicating there is a new post.

Like the Spanish/Espanol thread. I could care less when there is a new message in that thread, yet the Community Help forum turns green every time there is a new one.

Another one for the Suggestion Box. If what I say is so offensive to you, feel free to stick your nose in the air and ignore me. Did I incur your wrath by being civil to Booger?

Not at all! I like civil!

I was actually responding to Punisher's suggestion that I unsubscribe. We must have been typing our posts at the same time. I hadn't even read yours.

Still doesn't explain how the league averages are so high. I will save that for another day when imhave the time to add everthing up. I don't really care much about position coaches but usually wait for the ai to sign them after I promote the best ones to coordinators . Let us see what they come up with his year!

The league averages are so high because someone, somewhere, found a coach they liked and wanted to keep them. So, in hopes of avoiding other players poaching them, put a premium contract on them as a deterrent. If another player/owner wanted that coach bad enough, they would pay thru the nose. And since coaches will not sign for any less than what they are currently making, sometimes the deterrent works and sometimes it doesn't.

Take the time to find the Highest paid coaches and you will see that they also have other coaches with way below the league average.

Not that it matters.

Fwiw, this is me .. I pay through the nose for HCs, OCs, DCs and very little to PCs (normally minimum contracts). Since PCs make little difference, why pay them more than minimum??

Just my 2 cents on his matter .. lol

This isn't exactly true. PCs are valuable for targeting individual attributes that you want a player to develop faster. So your LB coach may **** in all skills except tackle, but in tackle he has 100, so you keep signing him for what he wants so no one else will take him.

This is typically how I choose PCs when I have to replace them because coaches actually develop fairly quickly. So that 50 overall LB coach with the 100 tackle will be up into the 70s overall in a few years.

That's what I did this offseason. Doing minimum contracts .. focusing on one trait.

I didn't say I only spoke one language. I just used that thread as an example.

Also, every language is singular, regardless of how many you may be fluent in.

Thanks for the insult though.

My bad. I do not wish to insult anyone....I was after a few beers and at a low ebb. Sincere apologies.

When they raised the coach salaries I had the same issue. I had to enter Training Camp with half of a coaching staff. After that tick, the game auto signed a bunch of Coaches to fill my empty slots.
