Player Name Change

I'm trying to change the name of a player and it says the first name is invalid. Why?

i've found that it only lets you choose from the names that are in the database. So type few of the first letters and it will list all the names allowed with those letters. I guess it deters people from making nasty player names.

I think Biff Tannen is perfectly reasonable name! I even tried Biff Howard Tannen, since that's more official and Bifford Tannen.

i think i remember JDB saying he used the most common names data base for the listing of the accepted names. Maybe Biff didn't make the cut even though Back to future was so popular :)
